These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the website https://ttsmp3.com, the text-to-speech converters, member areas and the API at https://api.ttsmp3.com (together the "Service"), operated by EPSILON WEBCRAFTS LLC, 271 W. Short St Ste 410 #1522, Lexington, KY 40507, USA ("we", "us", "our").
By accessing or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that you have as a consumer under mandatory law of the country you live in.
ttsMP3 converts text you enter into spoken audio and lets you listen to it or download it as an MP3 file. The regular voices are provided through Amazon Polly, the AI voices through OpenAI Text-to-Speech and Google Gemini Text-to-Speech. The available voices, languages and features may change over time, for example when the voice providers add or retire voices.
The Service can be used for free within a daily character limit per visitor, shown next to the converter. Paid plans offer larger amounts of characters. To keep the free Service available for everyone, you agree:
We may limit, block or suspend access if we detect such use.
You remain responsible for the text you enter. You confirm that you have the right to use it and that it does not violate any law or the rights of others.
Use of the generated MP3 files: Subject to these Terms, you may use the MP3 files you create with the Service in commercial and non-commercial projects, for example in videos (including monetized YouTube videos), podcasts, presentations, e-learning, websites, apps and advertising. This applies to free and paid use. Attribution to ttsMP3 is not required, but appreciated.
The voices themselves are not licensed to you: you may not download, extract or copy the voice models, train or build a competing voice or text-to-speech service with the audio, or resell access to the Service itself.
Text you enter is transmitted to the voice provider (Amazon, OpenAI or Google) to generate the audio. Generated MP3 files are stored on our servers and can be retrieved by anyone who has their link. Please do not convert confidential or sensitive information. Details are described in our Privacy Policy.
You may not use the Service or the generated audio:
Voice providers: You have to comply with the usage policies of the respective voice provider (OpenAI or Google for AI voices, Amazon for regular voices).
Premium plans give you access to a member area with a personal login. You must provide accurate information and keep your password confidential. You are responsible for all use of your account. Accounts are for one person or one organization and may not be shared publicly or resold. Please notify us immediately if you notice unauthorized use of your account.
Purchases are processed by our reseller FastSpring, which acts as the merchant of record. FastSpring's terms of sale apply to the payment, and FastSpring issues the invoice. You confirm that you are authorized to use the payment method you provide.
Each plan includes a number of characters and a period of validity as described on the purchase page. Unused characters expire at the end of the period unless stated otherwise. Monthly and yearly plans renew automatically until you cancel them. You can cancel at any time through the link in your FastSpring e-mails or by contacting us; the cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

Please contact us with the e-mail address used for the purchase. Beyond that, used plans and characters are generally not refunded, without prejudice to any mandatory statutory rights.
If a payment is reversed, charged back or refunded, the related account is deactivated. If you believe a charge is wrong, please contact us first – we usually resolve such cases quickly and without a chargeback.
API access is included with the yearly plan of the regular voices and is provided on request; the API supports the regular voices only. The API key is personal and may not be shared or published. The rate limits described in the API documentation apply (currently 150 requests per minute per API key and 300 requests per minute per IP address). We may block API keys that are misused, shared or used beyond the limits.
We aim to keep the Service available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. The Service depends on third-party providers and may be unavailable from time to time, for example during maintenance or outages of the voice providers. We may change, extend or discontinue features of the Service.
The Service and the generated audio are provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent permitted by law, we make no warranties of any kind, express or implied, including that the pronunciation, timing or quality of the audio will meet your requirements or that the Service is suitable for a particular purpose. Please check generated audio before you publish it.
To the extent permitted by law, EPSILON WEBCRAFTS LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, loss of profits, data or goodwill, arising from the use of or inability to use the Service. Our total liability for any claim related to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or USD 50 if you used the Service for free. These limitations do not apply to liability that cannot be limited by law, such as liability for intent or gross negligence.
You agree to indemnify us against claims of third parties that arise from the text you convert or from your use of the generated audio in violation of these Terms or of the law.
The Service may contain links to websites or services of third parties. We have no control over their content, privacy policies or practices and assume no responsibility for them. Please read the terms and privacy policies of any third-party website you visit.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you breach these Terms, misuse the Service or if a payment is reversed. You may stop using the Service at any time. Sections 3 (rights to audio you created before termination), 10, 11 and 12 survive termination.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Kentucky, USA, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. If you are a consumer, the mandatory consumer protection provisions of the country where you live remain applicable. If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid, the remaining provisions remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. These Terms, together with the descriptions on our purchase pages, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service.
We may update these Terms from time to time. For material changes we will try to give at least 30 days notice on the website before they take effect. By continuing to use the Service after the changes become effective, you agree to the revised Terms.
